Inspired by Kyle, the Every Heart Matters Series shares short, child-friendly reminders about kindness, inclusion, connection, compassion, courage, family support, grief, and hope.
💛 Weekly — Tuesday: Sparkle’s Light
Sparkle’s Light: From One Parent to Another is written by Becca for families navigating, prolonged hospitalization, medical uncertainty, parent advocacy, grief, and healing.
Written from one parent to another, each article offers honest reflection, connection, and gentle support from lived experience. The series is educational and supportive, not medical advice.
💜 Weekly — Thursday: Sibling Support
The Sibling Support Series recognises children whose lives are also changed when a brother or sister is unwell, experiences hospitalization, returns home after discharge, or is remembered after loss.
Each article offers age-aware conversation ideas and gentle family-support reflections to help siblings feel seen, included, and connected—without asking them to become caregivers, emotional protectors, or “the strong one.” The series is educational and supportive, not medical or psychological advice.

The CHD Spotlight Series provides accessible, family-friendly education about congenital heart conditions. Each Friday spotlight helps families, educators, caregivers, and community members build awareness and understanding.
🕯️ Monthly — The 4th: Remembrance
On the 4th of every month, we pause to remember Sparkle Kyelle with love. Each remembrance may be a photograph, memory, sentence, candle, heart image, or quiet reflection—gentle, respectful, and never required to retell the full medical story.
✨ Yearly — August 22: Celebration of Legacy
August 22 holds special meaning as the shared birthday of Sparkle Kyelle and Kyle—born exactly two years apart—and as the date Always Sparkle by Kyle was officially licensed.
Each year, the August 22 Legacy Celebration honours Sparkle’s memory, celebrates Kyle, and marks the official beginning of Always Sparkle by Kyle as a licensed initiative. The day brings birthday joy, remembrance, kindness, awareness, and community engagement together while carrying Sparkle Kyelle’s light forward through meaningful impact.
